Ashamed

“I remember that in another life I killed people like this” (Alexie 72) Reading this the reader can see that he doesn’t like what he sees or has done now that he has seen it gain.

“I wonder who I might have to kill now. I want this to stop.” (Alexie 80) He no longer wants to see people dyeing. He feels bad for what he has don to the people he has hurt.

“I shot people who would never do me harm. And now I’m not sure I can shoot at the men who plan to kill me.” (Alexie 106) He doesn’t want to hurt anyone anymore he wants to better himself now that he’s seen what his actions can do to others.
